American car companies are actually better at making BOATS. They just insist on putting four wheels on them.

I drive a Chevy Avalanche. The handling rivals a Starcraft.

    @YUSKHAN

Of course they do, like you’ve driven loads of American cars.!!

  6. Jaket2000 siger:

That was the best redneck impression I ever heard from a non american.

  7. trublu97 siger:

@YUSKHAN the european cars were not much better. The smog controls, recessions, and oil prices killed performance. The Merc’s didn’t look too much different then this car, the Porsche 2.7L would burn through valves in 40K miles, and the Audi’s were atrocious. But there was the Delorean…

  8. YUSKHAN siger:

    american cars are Shit

@AndersO1983 i agree with you. dude, i saw an old cadillac go over a bump on a highway here in america, and it just wallowed up and cushioned back up and down like it was a water bed, and the grannies inside were like woah woah woah woah ahahaahha

  13. AndersO1983 siger:

@AdamDaMan2008 Maybe so, but when a car with a suspension that soft brakes hard (perhaps to avoid an accident) it’ll nose dive and leave the rear brakes with very little grip and effect. Propably also why the front brakes lock – they have to work a lot harder, especially with such a heavy car. And even though the US has many straight roads, there are also some corners, not to mention hills. I wouldn’t be a passenger in this going over the top of a hill unless I had a bag to vomit in…

I love how the British just hate all forms of American cars and can’t wait to rip on them!
First off, the Lincoln Town Car was a big luxary car. The design was inspired by the Mercedes Benz of those times with the upright radiator. Also, at that time the “Square” look of cars was popular. As for the ride, the car needs new shocks.

“I would love to have seen the creases in his trousers.” Ha ha ha ha!

Hes forgetting though the car that was made in america… you’ll find this hard to belive.. but it was MADE TO DRIVE IN AMERICA not alot of corners alot of straight roads.. thats why the suspencion is like it is.. not 4 cornors.. but for long distance straight roads..

Simmer down eurotrash. British auto industry for last 30 years – UK doesn’t even own any of major marquee brands. He talks crap because like you he has an inferiority complex when it comes to the US. He mocks 35 year old cars, says people are fat or can’t name capitols of little shit countries. Can you name the capitol of California, 7th largest economy in the world? The UK is pretty close to the US in obesity rates. Keep trying; you may be No. 1 shortly in something at least.

@volvomantom Jag E type was a very good car, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut some time. The later XJS was just competent. The Stag, while looked nice, had notorious problems like other crap Triumph models. Currently there are no UK owned Mass Produced British car companies. And btw, some Chinese company is going to own Volvo soon, good luck with that volvoman.

  21. lokrat2 siger:

I didn’t say anything about Jaguar, that was somebody else.

  22. volvomantom siger:

Not all of them did that. Just ones that were (even the slightest bit, admittedly) neglected. Besides, these days enthusiasts have the problems of the original Triumph unit well covered now. It’s a great engine, and Stags still fitted with it are worth more than those fitted with Rover/Buick V8s.

Infuriatingly you say that Jag before Ford was garbage. Many would argue it’s the other way around.

  23. volvomantom siger:

@SauceCaptain Clearly you have not seen the video of him playing Car Skittles using a Morris Marina and an Austin Allegro as ‘balls’ then. :/

  24. lokrat2 siger:

Because the heads warped and it overheated crazily. It was a good looking car though.

  25. volvomantom siger:

@lokrat2 Why, exactly, did Stags suck?
